Bright Blossoms

The colors on this card are Midnight Muse, Gumball Green (both new In Colors) and Marina Mist.  The ribbon is the new Gumball Green Stitched Satin.  Love the color combo - I got it from the Color Coach.

Bright Blossoms

For this card I used the marker colors Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green (both new In Colors) to color the stamps.  Then I punched out the tiny circles from the Summer Starfruit paper and glued them in the center of the bigger flowers.  The dots at the bottom are from the Confetti stamp set.

Tiny Tags

We had our last Stamp Club for this catalog on Thursday.  Janelle, our hostess, invited all of us to come to her house and see her stamp room.  I forgot my camera, but OH MY GOSH she has the greatest stamp room ever.  I can only dream of having a room like that.  She is SO organized!!! We had a great time visiting and making this fun flower card with some of the new In Colors from the catalog that will come out June 1st.

We used two of the five new In Colors for this card:  Gumball Green and Primrose Petals.  They are both really great colors.  We also added in some of the Summer Smooches Designer Paper that is in the new catalog.  The ribbon we used is also new.  It's 3/8" Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon.  It's so soft and silky!  The background was stamped with the Distressed Dots stamp.

Bright Blossoms

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I love the variety you get with the Summer Smooches Paper.  The colors are Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo.  I used markers to color the vase and leaves.  The flowers are punched out of the paper with the Boho Blossoms Punch.  The 'happy birthday' is from the Party this Way Set (being retired).

I Dig You

I'm having so much fun with this set.  I love how this card turned out with the piles of dirt to dig in and the cute  Silver Mini Brads.  The colors are More Mustard, Chocolate Chip and Basic Black.  I used the Stripes Embossing Folder on the main part of the card.

I Dig You

I've been wanting this set and finally gave in.  I think it's so stinkin' cute!  The colors I used are Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede and Early Espresso.  I used the Distressed Dots stamp for the background.  The truck was colored with markers and then I added brads inside the tires.

Sweet Shop Stickers & Paper

The Sweet Shop designer series paper and matching accessories in the Occasions Mini are so bright and colorful.  Also in the Mini you'll find these fun Maze Game's.  I was so excited to get them and make fun birthday cards.  Kids don't usually care about the cards they receive for their birthday, so it's fun to add a little something interesting to grab their attention.  I did this card for a boy and I'll share my girl card soon!  The colors are Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.  The cool thing about these mazes are that you can remove the back and add any paper, stamps or stickers you'd like.  I used some of the Sweet Shop paper and a cute cupcake sticker.

Field Flowers

Years ago at a Stampin' Up! Convention we made a card similar to this.  I hung onto to it all these years because I LOVED it!  But I finally let it go and decided to make a replacement.  To make the card you cut your 8 1/2 X 11 paper in half the long way.  Then score at about 1 1/4" for the flap and about 4 3/4" for the fold.  The original card didn't have any kind of closure, but I had these cute Sale-a-bration brads and decided to make a little button with a ribbon loop to keep the card shut.  The colors are Rich Razzleberry and Island Indigo.  The pattern paper is from the Sweet Shop paper pack in the Mini.

Mixed Bunch

This is the card we made at Stamp Club a couple of nights ago.  We did the crayon resist technique using the Elegant Lines embossing folder.  First lay your Whisper White card stock over the raised side of the folder and then rub the paper with the flat side of a white crayon.  Next brayer over the top with your desired color of ink - we used Lucky Limeade.  After that just take a tissue and lightly rub the ink from the crayon image.  The flower is stamped in Wisteria Wonder and we used the Blossom punch to punch it out.  To 'curl' the flower we used a bone folder.  The Mixed Blossom set and coordinating punch can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The cute polk-a-dot paper is from the Sweet Shop paper also in the Mini.

Circle Circus

Circle Circus is such a fun set to use.  I used the Color Coach and put these colors together:  Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Island Idigo and Lucky Limeade.  The pattern paper is from the Regals Collection Paper Stack.  And the Rich Razzleberry button is from the Brights Designer Buttons.  The cute little cake stamp is from the Happiest Birthday Wishes hostess set and I just used markers directly on it.

Upsy Daisy

For this card I  used the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder on white card stock and ran it through the Big Shot.  Then I inked up the daisy stamp in the Cherry Cobbler ink pad and then kissed it onto the Canvas stamp to give it a little bit of a textured look.  After that I stamped it, moved it a bit to the right and then up a bit and then stamped it again to give it a shadowed look.

French Foliage

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I did the same techniques on this card as what I taught at stamp club on my last post.  We're starting to get some Fall weather where I live and I'm loving it.  The colors are Chocolate Chip, More Mustard and Crumb Cake.  It's hard to tell, but I did the wet embossing on the Chocolate Chip colored leaves and I used the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the dry embossing.

For All You Do

At Stamp Club last week we made this way cute card using two of the new In Colors - Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party.  I taught them that we don't always have to dry emboss the WHOLE piece of paper.  On this card we just embossed a little bit on the right side of the white card stock and then we stamped and did some wet embossing on the left side.  The butterfly was first stamped in Versamark and then into the Wisteria Wonder pad.  After that we embossed with clear embossing powder.  SO CUTE!

Happiest Birthday Wishes

A quick little 3X3 birthday card idea!  The cupcake punch comes in handy to add a fun focal point.

Happiest Birthday Wishes

Calypso Coral is the 5th and final new In Color.  Gorgeous!  For this card I first ran it through the Big Shot with the Flower Garden embossing folder.  Then I used the white ink pad to distress over the top of the flower and all around the outside of the card.  I also added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the insides of the flowers using a two-way glue pen.  The white card stock that backs the 'Happy Birthday' was done using the Perfect Details Texturz Plate.
