Have a great day and thanks for being a great dad!!!

Bright Blossoms

The colors on this card are Midnight Muse, Gumball Green (both new In Colors) and Marina Mist.  The ribbon is the new Gumball Green Stitched Satin.  Love the color combo - I got it from the Color Coach.

Bright Blossoms

For this card I used the marker colors Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green (both new In Colors) to color the stamps.  Then I punched out the tiny circles from the Summer Starfruit paper and glued them in the center of the bigger flowers.  The dots at the bottom are from the Confetti stamp set.

Bright Blossoms

The colors for this card are Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green (both new In Colors), Elegant Eggplant and Baja Breeze.  I used markers to color the tulips, then stamped them on Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the 1" circle punch and layered them with the 1 1/4" circle punch.  The ribbon is the 5/8" Whisper White Organza.

Teeny Tiny Wishes

I thought this was a cute card for graduation since owl's are so smart.  The little tag says "The tassel was worth the hassle."  The pictures of the inside of the card look pink, but it's really red.  I used the Up, Up and Away set to stamp the inside that says "The Sky's the Limit".

Tiny Tags

We had our last Stamp Club for this catalog on Thursday.  Janelle, our hostess, invited all of us to come to her house and see her stamp room.  I forgot my camera, but OH MY GOSH she has the greatest stamp room ever.  I can only dream of having a room like that.  She is SO organized!!! We had a great time visiting and making this fun flower card with some of the new In Colors from the catalog that will come out June 1st.

We used two of the five new In Colors for this card:  Gumball Green and Primrose Petals.  They are both really great colors.  We also added in some of the Summer Smooches Designer Paper that is in the new catalog.  The ribbon we used is also new.  It's 3/8" Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon.  It's so soft and silky!  The background was stamped with the Distressed Dots stamp.

The Avenger's Midnight Showing

Justus and his friends planned way in advance to go to the midnight showing of The Avenger's.  They also all dressed up.  Justus was The Incredible Hulk.  He bought Hulk contacts (which were very uncomfortable), a purple shirt and a lab coat - all for this very special event.  His friends arrived a little late and were in a rush so I didn't get a picture.  But they each dressed up as a different character in the movie.

Tori and her friend Bria also went dressed in their Avenger's t-shirts.  Adri's in her p.j.'s.  She did not go the the movie.  It was a school night!

They went to a movie theater that was a little further away so they could watch the movie in IMAX 3D.  They absolutely loved the show and were glad to be some of the first to see it.

It did come with a price though.  They were all a little late for school the next day since they didn't get home until 3:00 AM.  And they felt like zombie's all through what school they did get to.  I would have fallen asleep during the movie!  The things kids can do!

Tori's 15th Birthday!

I am so behind in the blogging world!  Tori's birthday was WAY back on May 1st and we celebrated it on April 29th!  Oops!  I'm finally getting to those pictures.  We had to sneak her birthday in during a mad rush to get our house ready to put on the market.  UGH!  Lots and lots of work!  Poor Tori was washing walls and blinds on her real birthday.  She was quite a trooper.

She chose the Up, Up & Away stamp set for her birthday cards and the colors Pool Party and Calypso Coral.  Not the easiest colors to find decorations for, but we did it!  I love how her invites turned out.

Tori's favorite dessert at the moment is Oreo Cheesecake.  So we served that along with a hot air ballon made out of little Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and fruit shaped marshmallows.  We used the raspberry and strawberry marshmallows because they matched the colors the best.

We also made these cute hot air balloons with treats inside for the cousins.

Tori had an awesome birthday even though it was all done in a rush!
Happy 15th cute girl!

Bright Blossoms

I love the different things you can do with the flowers in the Bright Blossoms set.  This is just one great example.  The colors are Real Red and Lucky Limeade.  The cute little button is from the Brights Collection and then I added a Pearl in the center.  The paper is from the Summer Smooches pack.  I used the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder on the main card.

Bright Blossoms

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I love the variety you get with the Summer Smooches Paper.  The colors are Daffodil Delight and Island Indigo.  I used markers to color the vase and leaves.  The flowers are punched out of the paper with the Boho Blossoms Punch.  The 'happy birthday' is from the Party this Way Set (being retired).

Bright Blossoms - More Bookmarks

My Stamp Club girls LOVED the book marks I made a while back, so last night at stamp club we used the Bright Blossoms set to create these.  This cute set is available this month through the Summer Smooches Special.  It is one of the sets that will be in the new catalog.  The paper, fabric covered brads and Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon are also part of the special.  The brads however will not be available in the new catalog. SO, if you like them get them before April 30th!

Baby Gift Idea

Adri chose this cute little monkey outfit to give to her teacher that is having a baby soon.  I thought it would be cute to make a burp rag to go with the outfit.  I chose the 3 main colors from the outfit and used them on the burp rag.  We would sure hate for the poor baby to clash!  The colors are Tempting Turquoise, Night of Navy and Chocolate Chip.  When you stamp on a burp rag you need to used the Craft Ink Pads, let it dry and then cover it with a thin cloth and iron well to set the ink.  It can be washed and dried over and over and will still keep its color.  Super great idea for a baby gift!
