Flight of the Butterfly

I embossed the cute little butterflies on vellum and then punched them out with the butterfly punch.  Then I used the Marina Mist marker to color on back of the vellum.  I also used the marker to color the centers of each of the flowers from the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.

Because I Care

This is a recently discontinued hostess set, but I thought it looked really pretty for one of the many wedding cards I'm working on.  The colors are Old Olive and Perfect Plum.  I used markers to ink up the flower and also used the Perfect Plum marker to ink up the 'best wishes' stamp from the Oval All set.  The border at the bottom was done using the Scallop Trim Border punch.

Oval All

How sad that my last post was of LAST months stamp club and this post is of THIS months stamp club!  Life has been busy lately with summer activities, but I'm going to try to do better.  This is the card we made at our last stamp club for this catalog.  The NEW catalog comes out in just 2 days - WOW!  I've seen it already and it's full of great new things and ideas.  Anyway, back to the card, it was made with the Oval All set from the Occasions mini and the Walk In the Park pattern paper is also from the mini.  I love this pattern paper and had a lot of fun using the different patterns for this card.  The White Satin ribbon can also be found in the Occasions mini.  For the 'Best Wishes' greeting we embossed in clear on white paper and then used a sponge dauber with the Baja Breeze ink pad to color over the top of the embossing and then used the Large Oval punch to punch it out.  The Scallop Oval is from the mini catalog.  I'm loving this set!
