This is just a quick little 3X3 birthday card idea.

24th of July Pioneer Celebration!

Here we are getting ready for the Grand Parade: Josie, Gracie, Brooke, Stran, Tate and Cinch.

Justus, Tori and Allie

We decorated our first float/trailer for the VFW (Vetran's of Foreign Wars - Jake is their awesome Quartermaster).  I should have got a picture before Jake left this morning, but didn't.  Everything turned out really cute.  It was a lot more work than I had planned on.  Adri rode on the trailer and then got off to come get her cousins to ride with her the rest of the way.

They had a very strict rule this year that they could not throw candy, so Adri did a lot of running back and forth to give candy out by hand.  It wasn't as fun for the kids - the candy is always the highlight of out very boring parade.

After Jake parked his trailer at my mom's he and all the kids joined us for the rest of the parade.  Luckily he usually has a spot at the very first of the parade.  It was such awesome weather this year - overcast with a bit of a cool breeze - perfect!  Although later in the day we were sweatin' in 90 degree weather.

After the parade we headed to my mom's for a BBQ and a b-day party for Cole!  Here he is blowing our his '4' candle on his peanut butter bar cake.  YUM!  Happy Birthday buddy!

Framed Tulips Embossing Folder

For this card I used So Saffron with Whisper White card stock and then used some So Saffron pattern paper to make a cute paper flower with ribbon leaves and a Hodgepodge Hardware center.  And this is the end of my wedding card frenzy!

Flight of the Butterfly

I embossed the cute little butterflies on vellum and then punched them out with the butterfly punch.  Then I used the Marina Mist marker to color on back of the vellum.  I also used the marker to color the centers of each of the flowers from the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.

Because I Care

This is a recently discontinued hostess set, but I thought it looked really pretty for one of the many wedding cards I'm working on.  The colors are Old Olive and Perfect Plum.  I used markers to ink up the flower and also used the Perfect Plum marker to ink up the 'best wishes' stamp from the Oval All set.  The border at the bottom was done using the Scallop Trim Border punch.

Teeny Tiny Wishes

I found this old pattern paper that looks great with the Flower Garden embossing folder and came up with this wedding card.  The saying ended up working out perfect punched out with the Window Word and Modern Label punches.  Love those tiny pearls!  The colors are Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze.

A Slice of Life

This cake is from a recently discontinued hostess set.  I thought it would be cute for one of the many wedding cards I'm working on.  To color the cake I used the Basic Gray and Pink Pirouette stamp pads along with a blender pen.  I'm definitely not the best at coloring, but I still think this card turned out cute.

Oval All

I'm in the process of making up a bunch of wedding cards - a good thing to do during these summer months when there are so many weddings.  For this card I've used Whisper White along with Naturals White card stock and used two different embossing folders for texture.  For the flower I punched a few different sizes of flowers and then crumpled the paper and divided each paper in two.  The flower is then smooth on one side and kind of fuzzy on the other.  I like to use the fuzzy side, it feels and looks like fabric.

Sunny Fun

I'm a little slow for the 4th of July, but where I live the whole month of July is patriotic!  The colors I've used are Poppy Parade and Pacific Point.  I colored the kids using markers and the water was colored with an Aqua Painter and the Pacific Point Pad.  I also colored the blue ribbon by running white ribbon along the top of the Pacific Point Pad.

I just got my 10 year pin in the mail from Stampin' Up!  I was a little shocked!  I didn't realize that I have been a demonstrator for that long! COOL!
