Wow Flower

This is my card trade from Stamp Club.  The Wow Flower Set and the Scallop Trim Border Punch are both items that can be earned for FREE during Sale-a-bration.  The pattern paper is from the Sweet Pea pack in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  This pack is such a great value.  So much to choose from!  Love it!

Wow Flower

We made this card at Stamp Club over the weekend.  We tried out the new  Scallop Trim Border Punch from the Sale-a-bration catalog and the Scallop Trim Corner Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It was a love/hate relationship!  These punches definitely take some practice and getting used to, but once you have it, the result are GREAT!  Just look at that cute border!  For these particular punches you have to have the exact right size of square if you want it to work with both punches.  The sizes that work are:  2" square (using just the corner punch), 2 3/8" square, 2 7/8", 3 3/8", 3 13/16 & 4 3/4".  You can also make these dimensions into rectangles by keeping the square size on the end.  Make sense?  The punches also look great used alone.  Definitely something new and fun to try.  The cute paper is from the Sweet Pea stack from the mini.

Oval All

I needed to make a birthday card for Olivia - HAPPY 1st to her! - and found these card 'extras' for a past stamp club.  I was able to come up with this card pretty fast since most of the supplies were already cut.  I had shown them how to do a Joy Fold card.  These cards turn out so cute and they're fun to make!  The Circle Circus stamp set has so many fun options.  It seems you can keep layering circles forever.  It's a fast way to add lots of colors to your card.  

Wanted

We've had a lot of birthday parties to attend lately, so I decided to make a new birthday card for each party rather than using one from my dwindling stash.  This is Cinch's birthday card - hope you had a great one bud!  

Happy Birthday Mallory!

This is a card Tori and I designed together especially for Mallory's birthday.  We can't wait to party tonight with you girl!  Happy 11th!!!  When the card was complete we sprayed it with Shimmer Paint mixed in alcohol to give it an all over 'shimmer'!  Mallory hopes to design clothes some day - we hope her gift and this card inspires her.

Christmas at our House!

Here's the kids opening their Christmas P.J.'s on Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning came awfully early.  Adri didn't sleep much (she said she slept about 10 minutes - UGH!).  Anyway, she wanted to get started at 4:30 AM, but we held her off until 5:00ish.

All of the opening was done within minutes!

Justus got a new sleeping bag, a coat and clothes.  Tori got boots, music CD's and clothes.  The kids get a new Christmas ornament for the tree each year.  This is them with their new one.

Adri got a Baby Alive, boots and clothes.  She happened to grab the pack of diapers to open first and Tori and Justus thought we were making an announcement.  Later when she opened the doll all the facts came together.  Phew!  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
