Delicate Dots Paper

No stamping involved on this card.  I used my 3/4" square punch and punched out each of the eight designs.  I embellished two of the squares and put them on dimensionals, but just used mono adhesive on the other squares.  The main card is Barely Banana card stock, the squares are on Sahara Sand, the skinny strip is So Saffron and I used the Certainly Celery poly-twill from the Ribbon Bundle at the very bottom of the card.

Polka Dot Punches

I'm really liking how these three In Colors look together.   Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango.  I still love being able to punch out the shapes instead of cutting!  The middle flower is on a dimensional and I used the Orange Bead Duo for the center of the flower.  First I put a squirt of the Tombo Multi Purpose Adhesive on, then I sprinkled the big beads on and then I filled in with the micro beads.  The greeting is stamped in Craft White and I stole it from the Flight of the Butterfly set.  It looks like my scanner cut off the right side of the card - it really has it's own mind!

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY ADRI!!!

Here's our cute Birthday girl by the sign Tori made her.  She's had a fun filled birthday!  Saturday she got to go to a party for her friend that has a birthday on the 15th, Sunday night she had a family party, Monday she had a friend party and Monday night she went to her cousin Taylor's party.  Taylor is 2 and it thrilled Adri when she was born on February 16th.  She LOVES sharing her birthday with her cousin!

This is Adri with Grandma and Grandpa Smith - Adri's great-grandparents.  Grandpa Doug is pretty special to her since he's the only living Grandpa she has.  We're so glad they were able to make it to the party.

This is Jake's mom and my mom - Adri's Grandma's!

Adri got new high tops!

She also got a popcorn maker that has been well used!  I think she's made 10 batches of popcorn since Sunday night!  She had her cousins Brooke (below) and Mallory sleep over and they made at least 4 batches that night to watch a movie.

This morning (Monday) they woke up bright and early and made MORE popcorn for breakfast and then got ready for Adri's friends to arrive.  We ate Subway sandwiches - Adri's favorite - and then headed over to Peaks Arena for some ice skating!  Left to right:  Mallory (cousin), Tori (sister and sign maker), Brooke (cousin), Janae (friend), Saige (friend with b-day on the 15th), Adri (b-day girl) & Mallory (friend).

Here's the girls waiting to get on the ice.  Right as we finished the painful process of getting ice skates on everyone the Zambonie (sorry, I don't know how to spell that word) came out.  There was also a girl who was taken away in an ambulance.  Talk about NERVOUS!  So I gave everyone the 'be extra careful talk'.  Luckily all went well in our group.

Jake was a good sport and went out on the ice.  I took pictures and stayed OFF the ice!  Not the greatest pictures however.

They skated for 3 hours!!!  Some had blisters, ALL had sore, sore ankles!  But they had an absolute ball!

Happy Birthday Adri Girl!

These are Adri's birthday Invites.  She picked the colors herself!  LOVE them!

Polka Dot Punches

This card uses the Delicate Dots pattern paper from the SAB catalog and also the Polka Dot Punches set.  I've added some Certainly Celery paper and also a little bit of Sahara Sand paper, two of the colors in the pattern paper.  The hearts were stamped with Versamark and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  The new Full Heart punch punches this cute heart out perfectly.  Sorry it's a little crooked (bad scanner day!)

Polka Dot Punches

Another cute Valentine's card idea that could also be used for another occasion.  I LOVE the color combo on this!  I used the Bella Rose pattern paper and the 1 1/4" and Trio Flower punches.  The cute button is from the Button Bouquet pack.  I'm also needing the new Button Latte pack (it's on the wish list)!

Polka Dot Punches

I've been having so much fun with the SAB products!   The paper and ribbons are awesome and I've loved the sets that I have so far.  I colored the scallop flower with Rose Red and So Saffron markers and then punched it out with the Scallop Circle punch.  I just dotted in the stem and leaves.  Dots seem to be much easier for me than actually drawing!  I cut little slits in the Certainly Celery paper to give the look of grass.  I also couldn't pass up using the Scallop Edge punch with some of the Delicate Dots pattern paper from the SAB catalog.

If you're interested in attending my SAB card class on Feb. 20th, let me know by Feb. 12th.  It will be lots of fun!  Look on the side bar for all the info.
