Adri's LAST DAY OF SCHOOL Party!

Adri planned her own party for the last day of school.  She even planned the food, activities, and made the invites.

Mallory, Adri and Brooke!

Justus was the cook!  Great job!

Everyone loves to eat!!!

Hmmm.... after 15 years of saying NO CAT!!!  We now have a kitty named Sky.  Oh dear!

Water was the whole focus of Adri's party.  Water balloons, water toys and a slip-n-slide.

Josie, Tori and Kelsie!

It was a warm 78 degrees (that's warm for us right now), but it was also overcast and windy.  Some of the girls are trying to get warm on the cement!

Makin' their own waterfall with the water toys Adri got for the party.  I accidentally got soaked from this fun game!  Great party Adri!!!

Upsy Daisy

I didn't love how this card turned out, but it's a good idea.  If you want a flat part to stamp on after using the Big Shot you can make a frame out of card board or use chip board.  Place that on your paper before running it through the Big Shot and it only embosses around the frame.  Then you're left with a nice flat spot for stamping.  I also used the frame to rub ink around in the middle so it was easier to get the oval look and not rub out of the lines.  The daisies are embossed with Iridescent Ice and the excess ink is wiped off the daisies with a tissue.

Wonderful You

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I used the same technique as we did on our make-and-take at club, except I used Clear embossing powder instead of Iridescent Ice.  The background is the Sanded stamp.  And the saying comes from the Oval All set.  Real Red and More Mustard are two of the colors that are staying for the new catalog July 1st.

Upsy Daisy

I haven't used glossy card stock for years!  At least it seems like it's been years.  For Stamp Club last night we wheeled Old Olive polk-a-dots onto glossy card stock.  A bit of a challenge on the slippery paper, but we hid our mistakes well.  Next we used the embossing buddy on the glossy paper after our dots had dried.  Then we embossed with the Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  After that had cooled we used a sponge rubbed in the Rich Razzleberry ink pad and rubbed that over our daisy's.  A tissue was used to rub the ink off of the daisies and then we had these cute little white daisies with olive polk-a-dots.  SO CUTE!!!  We of course had to used the Big Shot to add more dots to our card and the Coluzzle was used to make the cute frame.

Mother's Day Gifts

I got the mom's in our life a yummy treat and some jewelry for Mother's Day.  I thought the pillow pouches for the jewelry turned out so cute and wanted to share.  I used the Two Tags Bigz Die with the Big Shot to make the cute tags.

Tori's 13th Birthday Party!

Tori standing by her Birthday sign that Adri made!  Well done Adri!!!

B-day invites.  Tori helped plan and make them.  Gorgeous!

I wasn't feeling so good on party day so the kids cleaned the house and helped with all of the birthday decorations and such.  What great kids I have! :)

Waiting to get started.  Adri decorated the ceiling.  What would we do without her???  She loves to help as long as it's her idea.

It was one of our warmer days and the kids just wanted to be outside enjoying it.  Jasper loved that!

Tori opening her gifts!!!

The flaming cake!  Tori put the candles on herself and they were so far apart it took her 3 tries to blow them all out.  13 candles really lights it up!

Tori with baby Addi.  She's a cutie pie!

Tori in her new birthday clothes Monday morning right before school.   Lookin' cute!  Have a wonderful 13th year Tori!  LOVE YA!
