Hey Kari! This cards for you!!! I sure hope you're having a great day - you deserve one! This set is a level 1 hostess set that is especially awesome because there is a punch for each stamp. I just can't get enough of those kind of stamp sets. The colors I used are Not Quite Navy and one of the new colors Early Espresso along with Very Vanilla. Love the fanned out butterflies!

Printed Petals
This is my newest set. I really have a thing for flowers -- I just can't get enough of them! I'm really liking the Regals Collection during this beginning of fall season. For this card I've used Elegant Eggplant and Bravo Burgundy along with Crumb Cake from the Neutrals Collection. Love the combo! I got the Regals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack and I'm really pleased with it. I've used the Bravo Burgundy polka dot pattern here along with the Regals Brads for the flower centers. I'm shocked that I didn't feel like I needed to add ribbon!

Medallion
What a beautiful stamp! Thanks Celeste for letting me play with it - I may just have to get one for my very own! I first inked up the Sanded stamp with More Mustard and stamped that on Very Vanilla paper. Then I inked up the Medallion stamp in More Mustard and used a dauber with Cajun Craze ink to highlight. I love how it turned out. I also sponged around the edges of the paper with both colors. The pearl in the middle adds a nice touch.
This card was done using up the 'extra' ink on the stamp after I made the first card. It turned out really light so I decided to add the accent in the center of the medallion. The button was done by first sponging a Very Vanilla scrap of paper with More Mustard. Then I used the Itty Bitty Punch shapes to punch out the flower, sponged the edge with Cajun Craze and then glued on the button with Mono Adhesive. The button is attached to the card with a glue dot.

Before and After KISS!
This would be the BEFORE of Corban (aka Lefty), Justus and Colton (aka Smitty). Don't they look like nice young men?
And then here would be the AFTER. Oh my! I have to say that they did a great job with their make-up. Jake and I only helped them a little, most of it was done on their own. It took them about an hour to do before they left for the concert. Justus said that the concert was INCREDIBLE! One of his best friend birthday party's ever!
People sitting by them at the concert were very amazed with Justus' tongue. Yes - he can touch his nose and chin with that thing! Love the green gum! I think his tongue got too much of a workout at the concert last night - it's sore today.
Adri had a hard time staying out of the paint. We told her it looked like she fell in a fire pit!

Allie Mae Sorensen
Here's the cute baby that Justus gets to share his birthday with. Don't you just love her olivey, jaundiced skin. Jaundiced baby's are so gorgeous! She just got lights delivered to her house last night so she's on her way to a more healthy look. Good luck Allie you're a keeper!

Justus' 15th Birthday!
Justus turned 15 on the 16th and also got a new baby cousin that day. Allie Mae Sorensen was born to my brother Shane and his wife Wendy. She is absolutely gorgeous!!! Justus thinks it's cool to share his birthday with his new cousin. He also got surprised, by his dad, with concert tickets to the KISS concert next week. He's pretty excited about that. While I was in St. George his dad also gave him his other gift which was a dock for his Zune. His dad has a hard time keeping gifts wrapped up and sitting on the shelf.
We had a birthday party for him last night and his cousin Colter gave him a cool little knife for his collection.
He's been wanting a backrest pillow so he can read in comfort! He finally got one after a few years of asking.
My mom helped me make 4 different flavors of popcorn. They all turned out yummy! Jake decorated the fancy star cake. We rushed to pull this party together after the St. George weekend!
Justus was able to blow out all 15 candles in one breath.
Grandma Sorensen, Amber and Kacie.
Grandma Bonnie and Will.
While the girls were in St. George Will was busy getting his bare toe stepped on by a horse. OUCH! One bone is crushed and the other is broke on the growth plate. We're hoping his toe heals without any problems. Good luck buddy!
Justus and his cousins: Brady, Colter, Tate and Kade.
Party invites!
Justus loves being older because everyone gives him his favorite things -- TREATS and MONEY! Happy 15th Justus you're an awesome kid!!!
Girls Trip to St. George
Jake's mom took all of the girls down to St. George over the weekend. We stayed at Jake's Aunt Stacey's house and as you can see the kids had a ball. They swam for 6 hours straight!
Adri insisted on hugging a palm tree! We had to hurry out of there because we stopped at a house on the way out and the people were looking out their window. Ha, ha!
All of us at Tuacahn. We went to see Tarzan.
Izzy, Adri and some stinky apes. It was HOT!
Emma, Adri and Turk the ape.

Elegant Lines Embossing Folder
NEW STUFF! Love it - I got this gorgeous embossing folder, the Paper Daisies and the Rhinestones from the new catalog and had so much fun making this card. The card stock is Cherry Cobbler. Love the color! The Paper Daisies are super easy to do whatever you want to with them. You can sponge them, brayer them or use your Aqua Painter like I did here. Mine is a sloppy job, but I was just so excited to see the results!

Apple Blossoms
Finally something to add to the blog! We had a fun club last week and this is the card we made using the new Hostess Set - Apple Blossoms. I have really fallen in love with this set!!! We used the new Daffodil Delight ink and ribbon along with Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip. I'm still loving the Itty Bitty Buttons. The pattern paper we used was from last years catalog and is no longer available, but I decided to use it anyway.
