Two Step Bird Punch

I haven't been the best stamper this summer, but I have spent many hours working on these invites and folders for Jake's grandma.  She has a group of friends that get together each year and they take turns being the president.  This is the second time I have helped her with her folders and invitations.  Their theme and colors stay the same.  Lilacs with the colors yellow and purple.   This time I had the idea of using the Two Step Bird Punch and making it look like the bird was sitting on a lilac bush.  I thought it turned out quite nice for the folders that they put all of their info. in (just a sheet of paper folded over).  But, I didn't want to do all that punching and pasting work again for 24 more invites - too much work!  So I found this old incentive stamp (the wispy leaves) and decided it would be cute to add the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set to it.  The little flower and bird in the set turned out perfect and I felt like I made a smaller version of the punched bird on the folder with not so much work involved.  Over all I love how they both turned out.  I hope Jake's grandma does too!
