French Foliage

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I did the same techniques on this card as what I taught at stamp club on my last post.  We're starting to get some Fall weather where I live and I'm loving it.  The colors are Chocolate Chip, More Mustard and Crumb Cake.  It's hard to tell, but I did the wet embossing on the Chocolate Chip colored leaves and I used the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the dry embossing.

For All You Do

At Stamp Club last week we made this way cute card using two of the new In Colors - Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party.  I taught them that we don't always have to dry emboss the WHOLE piece of paper.  On this card we just embossed a little bit on the right side of the white card stock and then we stamped and did some wet embossing on the left side.  The butterfly was first stamped in Versamark and then into the Wisteria Wonder pad.  After that we embossed with clear embossing powder.  SO CUTE!

Justus' Eagle Court of Honor

This is the invitation for Justus' Eagle.  He wanted to have it outside to get that whole 'scouting' effect, but the weather wouldn't cooperate.  At the last minute, really about an hour before it was supposed to begin we started making calls to tell everyone to come to the Armory instead of up the canyon where Justus really wanted it.  He thought we should still have it in the wind and the rain, but I'm sure many people were happy that we didn't make them sit in the cold and wet.

Justus' Grandpa Mike gave an awesome tribute to Justus and presented him with a cool sword.

Grandma Sorensen also did a great tribute to Justus.

Here is Justus and his Eagle Scout friends, Kevin and Tanner, doing the scout pledge.

Justus is officially an Eagle Scout!

We were able to fit in his 16th Birthday too.  We also sang to his little cousin Allie since they share a birthday.

We got Justus an Eagle statue to always remind him that he earned his Eagle. For his Birthday we got him a Jeep Cherokee.  SPOILED!  He will be able to get his license on the 31st of this month! Watch out!!!

I also made him a scrapbook to help him remember this big event.  I'll be adding onto it since we finally got his Court of Honor done.

Congratulations Bud!  We couldn't ask for a better kid!!!
We are SO PROUD OF YOU!

Flight of the Butterfly

I love the new Scallop Dots Ribbon!  The colors I've used are Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant - I got the color combo off the Color Coach.  I also used the Lace Ribbon Border Punch, cut in half, for a different look.  The flower was created using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch with a Designer Printed Brad in the middle. The brads are a must have!

Happiest Birthday Wishes

A quick little 3X3 birthday card idea!  The cupcake punch comes in handy to add a fun focal point.
