So Happy For You

For this card I've used Marina Mist and So Saffron.  Springy!  After this long winter I'm ready for spring.  I used the Framed Tulips embossing folder and inked the design with the white ink pad.

Build a Cupcake Punch

First I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my husband!  There are so many b-day's in February!  Even in my primary class at church.  These are the cards I made for the birthday kids this month.  The other teacher and I gave them each a CTR ring and a bag of dollar store toys and treats.  I thought the little 3X3 cards were so cute!  And they looked so cute attached to their gift bags.

Happy 11th Birthday Adri!!!

Adri designed and made her own birthday cards this year - she did an awesome job!  They were a lot of work for her and she was very glad to be done after making enough to give to family.

Tori made Adri's birthday sign.  LOVE IT!
Adri wanted to serve cupcakes for the treat since she put a cupcake on the invitation.  We also found a new treat that was wrapped in orange and had blue writing to go along with her colors.  If you haven't tried 'Reese's Whipps' you need to give them a try.  YUM!

Jake and I decorated the best we could. :)
Amber, Kade, Kevin and Grandma Sorensen
Kade, Cole and Tate playing with Adri's guinea pigs.
Beautiful Kacie.
Josie, Wendy and Mallory hiding away.
Hayes and cute little Addie.
Grandpa Mike, Grandma Bonnie, Emma, Taylor (she has the same b-day as Adri), Tori and little baby Allie.
Adri absolutely LOVES the game LIFE.  She plays it with Grandma Sorensen for HOURS!!!  So we decided it was time for her to have her own.
Adri also got an origami book that should keep her very entertained.  She received lots of fun presents and was a pretty happy girl.  Thanks to our family for all the fun gifts and for coming to Adri's awesome birthday!

Create a Cupcake & Build a Cupcake Punch

There are all kinds of fun things in the Occasions Mini Catalog and this set and punch are a couple of them. It's fun to be able to stamp each part the exact color you want them and then be able to punch each piece out. For this cupcake I used the Crumb Cake ink pad and paper along with Real Red. I added a little red glitter on the cherry and then one of the glitter brads by the bow for a little sparkle. I love how it turned out! Today is Adri's birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL! She used the punch along with some pattern paper and planned her own b-day cards. She's got her birthday party planned for Friday so I'll post the card she made then.

Punch Bunch

I love these bright colors for a new little baby girl. I've used just the Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo stripes from the Paper & Quick Accents Pack. I also added in some Pink Pirouette paper. I attempted to make my own little scalloped mobile across the top of the card to dangle the cute tag from. I'm loving the 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon from the new catalog. It's so dainty. Check out those cute flower button too. Perfect for this card!

So Happy For You

This was the first time I tried out the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. It turned out pretty cool. After I ran it through the Big Shot I took the Pumpkin Pie ink pad and rubbed it along the embossed tulips so they really popped out. The pumpkin paper is from the Paper and Quick Accents Pack and has another one of those darling borders along one side. Love it! The buttons from the Ribbon and Button Pack have been fun to play with also.

Punch Bunch

I love the paper from the Paper & Quick Accents Pack. Along the edge of a couple of the pieces it has a cute little border. This Melon Mambo paper it one of those cute pieces. You can also follow along with the Scallop punch and it lines up perfectly. For this card I just left it however. Once again I've used markers to color the flowers in Melon Mambo and Old Olive. I even used one of the border stickers from the pack mentioned above and added it along the scallops. It was so easy to add a quick accent!

Punch Bunch & So Happy For You

I couldn't resist putting Crystal Effects on this cute little guy! His eyes are now so shiny and cute, a little jaundiced however! NOTE: I should have used brown Stazon. Oops! He's still cute, jaundiced eyes and all. I really like the writing on the greetings in the So Happy For You set (another free Sale-A-Bration set). The polka dots were fun to play around with too. Click on the Sale-A-Bration pic at the left if you'd like to see all of the items you can earn for FREE!

Punch Bunch

Another fun card made with Punch Bunch with all Sale-A-Bration items. Awe, so cute for a new little baby boy! I used Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pacific Point markers to color the 'welcome baby' stamp and then punched it out with the small tag punch. I LOVE sets that have coordinating punches. They just make card making so easy! The Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder was used along with the Big Shot to make the cool background.

What does Adri do in her spare time?

Baby the cat of course! Oh Adri! You are quite the girl!

I'm amazed at how content the cat looks in the stroller. Her eyes look a little glazed over. Maybe Adri put catnip in a bottle and fed her too.

Who knows with that girl!!!
