French Foliage

I'm really loving this French Foliage set. Next to flowers, leaves are one of my favorite things!  These are 3 of the 5 new In Colors: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait & Pear Pizazz.  I was going to wait to purchase these, but I'm glad I didn't.  They're all gorgeous!

Have a great Halloween!

Printed Petals

I made this card for a friend who recently found out she has breast cancer.  She's an amazingly strong person and will definitely be a survivor.  I want to wish her the very best!  I love how the card turned out and wanted to share it.  This is the new Blushing Bride paper along with Regal Rose.

Medallion & French Floliage

This was my card trade for Stamp Club.  I did the exact same technique as the Halloween Medallion card that I taught at club.  The colors I used are Riding Hood Red, Perfect Plum and Daffodil Delight.  The color brayered over the top is Soft Suede.

Medallion & French Foliage

We made this card at Stamp Club over the weekend.  What an awesome card for any occasion that's around Halloween.  For this card we first stamped our leaves and 'French words' on glossy card stock.  Then we embossed the Medallion stamp with clear powder over the stamped images.  When that cooled we used the brayer with basic black ink over the whole glossy piece of card stock.  After that we took a tissue and wiped away the black ink from the embossed image and then you can see the leaves that you stamped very first.  We used both Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango which you can only get away with at Halloween time!

Apple Blossoms

I love how this card turned out with the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I had a little help from my Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the circles stamped in the right place.  It's a good thing there are two sides to every paper, because my first try didn't work so well.  The colors are so fun together -- Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise -- love 'em!

Medallion

I love this stamp!  This looks so pretty, like something you could put right on a wall in your house.  To get this look I started with some of the Regal Collection Pattern Paper - More Mustard to be exact.  Then I inked up the Medallion stamp with Versamark and stamped it on the pattern paper and embossed with clear embossing powder.  After it cooled I took a sponge and rubbed Early Espresso ink all over the embossed image.  Then I wiped off the embossed image with a tissue.  The brass brads in the corner look great on this card.

Punch Potpourri

I guess you could call this a retro Halloween card.  For the background on the the Tangerine Tango paper I used the Sanded stamp.  The flower outline around the white paper turned out kind of fun.  Just stamp two of the flowers all the way around and then fill in with the third flower.  I sponged the large paper flower with Basic Black ink and then sprayed it with a mixture of alcohol and Frost White Shimmer Paint.  I also sprayed the sparkles onto the smaller flower.  I wasn't sure if the orange rhinestone brad eye was too creepy looking, but it is a Halloween card.  I like the Scallop Trim Border hanging off the card a bit.

Printed Petals

Purty!  I've been experimenting with all sorts of paper flowers.  This is the rolled paper flower.  To make this start with a square of paper and then cut it into a spiral.  Start rolling from the center and munch the flower as you go.  I used the Night of Navy Regals pattern paper for the flower and the scalloped square.  The flower and pearl are glued on with Crystal Effects.  Remember how to make the scalloped square using the Scalloped Trim corner and border punches?  This square is 2 7/8" X 2 7/8".  Start with your corners first and then do the border.  I used the Big Shot with the Textured Impressions Square Lattice folder on the white strip of paper.
