Tori and Me at the Taylor Swift Concert!!!

This is Tori right before we went into the concert this past Tuesday night, the 26th.  I'm a little slow getting the pictures posted -- it's been a busy week!

A picture taken by us before the concert started.

We had great seats!

This is Taylor making her way down into the crowd.  For one of the songs she came out on the opposite side from the stage.  As she went down the isle she hugged people and 'touched' hands.  One boy hugged her for quite awhile and then was jumping up and down afterwards.  He was pretty funny to watch.  I'm thinking he didn't really want to let her go too bad.  SECURITY!

When Taylor made her way down the isle she got up on a stage that was right in front of us!

We got a pretty good picture of her there!

Love Story was a favorite of course!

Kellie Pickler was sick (what's up with that!):, but this is Taylor singing with the group Glorianna that opened for her.  They have one song out on the radio right now -- Wild at Heart.
It was an awesome concert -- Tori and I had lots of fun!  Jake gave Tori two tickets for her birthday and was nice enough to let me be the one to take her.  He said I would probably have more fun that him.  Go figure!  He took Justus and Adri to Night At The Museum II.  They said it's a funny movie.

Party Hearty

This is the card we made at Stamp Club last night.  We used the NEW Grommets from the Occasions Mini Catalog and also learned a way to use up bits and pieces of our pattern paper.  Since a new catalog will come out July 1st it's time to use up our old paper so we can prepare for some new!  If you would like to join a STAMP CLUB for this next catalog year let me know by MAY 29th!  Stamp clubs are a fun way to get together and do what we love. The club will last for the whole catalog year and we'll meet either every month or every other month. We always do a make and take at each club, so you go home with a fun card. Each person in the club takes turns being hostess and receiving the hostess benefits. You can also participate in a card exchange, but you don't have to. If you have any questions just ask!

Four Square

These are some cards I made for a recent swap.  I did a few different colors to go along with peoples school themes.  Thanks to my sisters stalking abilities (hee, hee - JK).  Sorry they're all crooked.  My scanner seems to have issues!

Tori's Birthday Weekend!

HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY VICTORIA ELIZA

Tori started her Birthday morning (Fri., May 1st) with a couple of presents to open.  She got a new b-day shirt and some shorts, but it was too COLD to wear them!  She also got tickets to the Taylor Swift concert from her dad.  She started her Birthday very happy then headed off to school!  When she got home she had a friend party.  Sierra, Riley and Kelsie came over for some girly girl fun!

Tori's Aunt Abby came over and taught them how to put make-up on and they all went home with the goods to do it.  Below is a picture of them after their beautiful make-overs.  Thanks Abby for taking the time to come to Tori's party.

It's just not a party without FOOD

They jumped off their pizza to wind the party down.

SATURDAY we all went to the cemetery to remember my dad.  He passed away 5 years ago on May 1st, Tori's birthday.  We all said something that we miss or loved about Grandpa Sorensen and then Grandma shared Reese's Peanut Butter Cups with us.  Those were Grandpa's favorite treat!  He is very, very missed but also still very, very loved!

On SUNDAY Tori had a family party.  She helped me decorate the cake and cupcakes.  It's nice that she's old enough to help with the prep work for parties!

Here's Grandma Sorensen and Cinch  You can see Adri in the background checking out the gifts!

This is Mike (Grandma Bonnie's fiance'), Tori, baby Olivia and Grandma Bonnie.

Here we have Lisa, Great Grandma Lorae, Hayes, tired Taylor, Adri and Gracie.

Tori's birthday is always right around Stockshow time.  Brian is showing the tired's along with Gracie, Stran, Justus, the b-day girl Tori and Emma.

Tori opened lots and lots of presents.  She got clothes, jewelry, a Sugarland CD, a purse, shoes -- way too much to remember.  She is one spoiled 12 year old girl!

This is the beautiful cake Tori and I worked on together.  Hey!  Don't laugh we made it in record time since we have the late church!  She blew out all 12 candles in one breath!  The busy weekend came to a close and now Tori has to wait a whole year for another Birthday!  Next year we'll have two official teenagers in the house.  YIKES!!!

This is Tori's birthday invitation:

THURSDAY -- backing up a little bit -- Justus had his Choir Concert.  And boy was it a treat.  He had the most bored look on his face the ENTIRE concert.  I picked the best picture I could out of what was taken.  He said he was looking at the clock at the time wishing for the concert to end.  What a stinker!!!

I also can't forget to mention Adri's little bird she found wandering in the grass.  She felt it was her duty to take care of it.  She made it a home in an old ice cream bucket and even dug out a nest she had saved from our tree last fall.  She did a pretty good job, but unfortunately little birdie died a peaceful death in the night Friday.  Bye-bye birdie, Adri loved you!
